I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix % k# x9 z) V) ^, e( y : s' S% T' X' s. just that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
